In the new ages of Anark, the Guardians have been keeping the balance of power in check for hundreds of thousands of years. When one Guardian finds that Odin, one of the gods keeping balance, is stealing souls to over power the other gods he is captured to be executed. Only Lorena, Princess of the Human Sanctum, can save her lover from execution. However, questions still remain: can she still save all of Anark at the same time and become someone she never believed she could be?

Prologue

The wind blew fervently through the empty shrine walls. Dust that had once been not there now drifted into the air as it rose from the floor. The place was old and ruined. Two figures strode across the ground, their feet making no sound as they touched the hard stone floor. The sky was gray, the lamp torches were burned out and no life presence could be sensed.
“What shall we do now master?” a woman’s voice asked.
“We shall restore an order that has been lost,” a calm voice replied with a heavy sigh.
“But master, what are we going to do? The Guardians are spread out through history, time and space.”
“Which is why this job has fallen upon us…me as the Time Guardian and you as the Time Goddess, we can bring all of them here. We did not have the power before, but now we have the power to do so. The Black God will fall and in time so will this poor excuse for a bound law.”
“Yes, but what of the Ancients? Surely they will try to control the Guardians movements along with the gods.”
“Yes, but even gods and the fore founders can not stop destiny and time. Today we will set a new course for history. We will break the dark bonds that hold us apart and restore the Order. Instead of mages and low life beings, the Guardians will watch over the worlds from a place where only we can step foot on.”
“So were do we start?”
“When I was younger I came across a dream that I had of a Guardian from another world that held the power of fire. Of course it seems that he would be the only one guarding this world. But instead there was another.”
“Another Guardian protecting one world, that is unheard of.”
“Exactly, the fire and life Guardians are the ones we shall seek out first. However, we cannot do so until their time has passed.”
“What do you mean?”
“Their destinies must unfold before we interfere. Just like a rose bud must bloom before it spreads its petals.”
“So how long do we wait?”
“That I already know.”
His hand drifted inches above the wall in front of him that held a statue of a woman. The white emblem of six wings in front of him began to shine.
“Time is a valuable thing. If it is lost it will never reveal itself again which is why we shall portal into the past and watch over them until the time comes for us to intervene.”
“Very well, my master, but what shall become of the future when we do?”
“It will change indeed but it will change for the better…”
Light blue swirls of sparkling magic spun around them and six wings spread from both of their backs.
“History calls us, shall we answer?”
“We shall,” the woman replied, and they disappeared into thin air.
The room around them did not change; it did not stir, for it awaited the presence of the Guardians who would bring the Order back to the worlds.
